1. The selection is too small
I believe that many users of three-phase motors do not know the specific gas consumption of their own production at the beginning, so they choose the model. At this time, the exhaust pressure cannot rise, and it is lower than the rated exhaust pressure, which cannot meet the normal gas consumption of the factory. At the same time, you can check to see if there is a leak in the pipeline. Close the valve behind the air storage tank. If the unit can quickly increase the pressure, open the valve, and the pressure will drop quickly, and finally reach a pressure point, it can be confirmed that the selection of the air compressor unit is too small. The exhaust volume of the unit is less than the actual gas consumption of the production.
Solution: It is most scientific to add a new unit to make the air compressor discharge 10-20% larger than the gas consumption.
2. Whether to add new gas equipment
After the air compressor of the three-phase motor is used for a period of time, the air volume is obviously insufficient, and the pressure cannot be increased, so it is maintained at the off-line position of the rated air consumption. At this time, you should first check whether there is any new gas-consuming equipment. If there is new gas-consuming equipment, what is the gas consumption? Compare with the air compressor unit to see if it can meet the requirements. If not, please install a new air compressor. unit, increase the exhaust volume.
If there is no new gas equipment, the exhaust volume is still not enough, first check the leakage of the pipeline, if there is no leakage point in the pipeline, it is the problem of the air compressor itself.
The air compressor itself has the following problems:
1. Is the maintenance timely?
The exhaust volume of the air compressor of the three-phase motor has decreased. After eliminating the above possibilities, first check whether the air compressor has been maintained and how long it has been maintained. If the environment is not very ideal, the air compressor should be operated for 2000 hours. Check whether the air filter is blocked. Those who can use compressed air to remove dust, if the blockage is serious, replace the new air filter.
Many times, there is no major problem when the air compressor exhaust volume drops, but the customer neglects maintenance, and the air filter of the air compressor is blocked. After replacing the new air filter, it can be used normally.
In addition, in addition to the air filter, the lubricating fluid and other filter elements are also critical. Check whether the lubricating fluid is within the standard range. If it is missing, please add it appropriately.
2. Is the intake valve fully open?
The air compressor exhaust volume of the three-phase motor has dropped, check the unit, just maintain it, and eliminate the three filters and oil problems. This is the first to check the air compressor intake valve, remove the intake hose, turn on the air compressor, and watch Is the opening of the intake valve normal? The theoretical design life of the intake valve is 100,000 times. Because each manufacturer uses different brands and batches, the quality is also different, so the failure of the intake valve may lead to a decrease in the exhaust volume of the unit.
If the intake valve cannot be fully opened when the air compressor is loaded, it can be concluded that the decrease in exhaust volume is the failure of the intake valve, which should be removed for maintenance or replacement.
3. Motor failure
After removing the fault of the intake valve, the exhaust volume of the unit has not changed. It should be considered whether the motor is faulty. Due to the local short circuit in the motor coil, or the bearing damage, the motor shaft is worn, causing the motor speed to be lower than the rated speed. If the air compressor discharge volume drops, the motor coils, bearings, etc. should be repaired, and the air compressor discharge volume should be tested after the repair.
4. Changes in the environment lead to a decrease in exhaust gas volume
In the past, it was used in inland areas. Because the factory was built in the northwest region, the air compressor was used in the new factory along with other equipment. The altitude increased and the environment became humid, which may lead to a decrease in the exhaust volume of the unit.
The higher the altitude, the thinner the air, the smaller the gas production per unit time, the excessive moisture in the air, and the compressed air contains a lot of moisture.
